So....a lot of people was asking me for a comparison between 3570K and 2500K
    so here it is......
    Setup 1
    2500K+Maximus V Formula
    Setup 2
    3570K+Maximus V Formula

let the graphs do the talking....
    point to be noted:
In Aida benchmark Suite Higher is better
In SUPER PI and Wprime Lower is better
again in X264 and Cinebench Higher is better

First up the Aida 64 CPU and FPU results...
not much to say except CPU HASH and FPU VP8 gets a good boost.

Next up the super PI and Wprime

the boost somewhat small is expected.

    Next up some encoding stuff
    X264 And Cinebench

Not much of a difference..and i am disappointed...Intel was better off not releasing this and working on something better...

LOL the model numbers don't even make head or tail to me any more. Need to get back in the game.

while performance might be a bit iffy.. it was expected. Ivy Bridge wasn't going to be the major leap anyway. Thats for Haswell.

Anyways, in the broader perspective, IB is more efficient with better power consumption than SB so all things being equal, that would be a pretty good reason to choose the IB over the SB .. if of course you were jumping from a much older setup any way
