My friend needs a little help here. He recently bought Asus Transformer, an android based tablet. Now he needs to know if the usual 3G dongles available in the market from the providers like TATA Docomo, MTS, Reliance etc will work on that tablet ? I mean they come with their own connecting application for windows, any way to make them work on Android Tablets ?

Thanks for any kind of help :)

yes its possible. some settings have to be changed/made and it can work. I was given this explanation by the person selling tablets ( I was inquiring for the micromax funbook ).

You need a mini usb to usb female cable though, which would have to be sourced/made from jugaad for it to work.

Yeap, well ill give you a summary :

    -Root the tablet.
-And then you have to push the drivers in using ADB. Or a Script if that is available.

Trust me nothing that tough. Tons and tons of guides out there. Just check the make of the Dongle. MTS/Docomo/ etc etc, mostly re brand the heauweiweweqwe (or somthing) dongles.
