It's been a crazy month of launches. Now comes Motorola launching their last devices before their acquisition by Lenovo.

First up, the specs of the New Moto X -

    Operating system
    Android 4.4.4 KitKat®

    Storage (ROM)

    BT 4.0LE
    USB centered at bottom
    3.5mm Headset Jack

    Battery
    2300 mAh

Some shots detailing the features from the Moto X site - (click on the image for full size)

    Moto X 01.jpg

A full HD screen that has now grown to 5.2 inches from 4.7. A tad big. They spoiled it IMO.

    Moto X 02.jpg

No overlays, no custom UI nothing, Pure 4.4.4

    Moto X 03.jpg

Takes a snap before and after you click, suggests other alternate shots.

    Moto X 04.jpg

    Quad Core 2.5 Ghz processor.

    Moto X 05.jpg

    Reads hand gestures, interesting.

    Moto X Turbo charger.jpg

    Using new fast charging technology.

    Moto X Ring flash.jpg

And the ring flash, which is not really a ring flash but two LEDs on either side
    of the camera

    The New Moto G -

    Moto G 01.jpg

    BT 4.0LE

    3.5mm Headset Jack

    2070 mAh

What I do not like is the fact that they have increased the size of the devices. 5 and 5.2 inches is a tad big.

    Pricing -

    Moto X - 499 $ - 30,000 INR

    Moto G - 180 $ - 10,800 INR

Do I need to mention that you can order the Moto X with one out of 25 wood options for the back and one out of 4 leather options.

I don't mind the leather option, but wood?

like moto X, wood panel will have water resistant coating .

Good to see Moto G2 on sale just after being launched in India via flipkart .Companies are treating Indian customer with importance in this regard .Hopefully this trend continuous :)
