    Hey everyone,

I have a Sony LED Ex720 but it does not have built-in Bluetooth.
What I basically want to do is use my Bluetooth headphones with TV and go wireless :)

Can it be done by using some kind of adapter or something??
    Any suggestions ??

good question, but it would need a dedicated audio to bluetooth link that would hook up to your headphones. Better option would be to simply buy a pair of wireless headphones.

Though Ill wait for the A/V residents as tagged above to respond.

Ya, thats the other option I am looking at. But the good wireless ones are costly. Sennheiser...

What you need is something like this ( ~ 1500-1800 rs )

Amazon.com: Britelink (TM) Bluetooth Audio Transmitter: Portable, Bluetooth Music Transmitter for 3.5 mm Audio Devices Wireless Streaming (iPod,MP3,MP4,TV,media players...): MP3 Players & Accessories

Or something available locally though around 2.5-2.6k -

3.5mm Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Audio Dongle Adapte-WFB | eBay

I like this a lot ( for the compact size and company )

IOGEAR - GBMA211W6 - Bluetooth Stereo Audio Transmitter

the compact answer to your query is this: Amazon.com: Britelink Bluetooth Audio Receiver: Portable, Bluetooth Music Receiver with Stereo Output (3.5 mm) for Home and Auto Stereo Systems: Electronics

the longish answer, based on my research ( my father was after me to find him a good wireless personal audio solution..):

    a. the quality of these stereo bluetooth adapters [almost all brands available on amazon] is dodgy. basically because, it gets tested beyond the usual capability levels of a stereo bluetooth headset - low power low range (using with a phone that will stay on your person).
    b. there are cheap options from philips and iball but they are just about ok.
    c. there are answers from sennheiser , readily available in croma etc. But the audio quality you get from a 12k headset is not worth much. ( the range starts from ~5k , base rs110 i think, and top rs170 at ~16k)

They will, you simply need to have a headphone port in your TV, be sure to check that.

Ya, you are right. That's why I didn't want to spend on a wireless one.
Let me read some reviews on the adapters and see which one to but :)

Cool. But the only issue I see here is getting stuck with the bulky headset. The good thing about going with BT is that you can change headphones as you wish and get some lighter ones especially neck band ones..
