Anyone seen the series yet? 2 Episodes have been aired. I was planning to watch, but before i get it, just wanted a feedback. And for those who haven't heard of it, its a historical fantasy series on the early life of Leonardo DaVinci. From Wikipedia - Described as an historical fantasy, the series explores the untold story of da Vinci "inventing" the future at the age of 25, at a time in history when “thought and faith are controlled...as one man fights to set knowledge free.” The young da Vinci struggles with his inner darkness “tortured by a gift of superhuman genius. He is a heretic intent on exposing the lies of religion. An insurgent seeking to subvert an elitist society. A ?#@*&%!^$~ son who yearns for legitimacy with his father.” The series includes many of the real da Vinci inventions and subsequent work as a military engineer for the Duke of Milan and later on the Borgias.
Saw the first two episodes, it is filmed very well and the parts where they show what Da Vinci images/thinks/sees are excellent. I wouldn't watch it for its historical accuracy.
Saw the first two episodes. Loads of nudity, but I still like the concept. The first episode was slightly slow but the second one was at the right pace. Enjoyed it. Waiting for Episode 3 now.
5 Episodes of Season 2 are out.. P.S. - After watching Game of Thrones I can imagine why this series was commissioned.
So Season 2 ended, and I must say, the build-up is quite the ending. A lot of questions answered and some still lingering around. The quest for the book of leaves has kinda gotten painful, but now with the Pope disappearing it's surely a twister. Onto Season 3 now!
Yep.. saw her finally.. Actually should've noticed the similarity that they have shown (Absolutely black hair)
Da Vinci's hair stand out from the rest of the people in Florence. Something that marks him as unique (subconsciously).
