    Just finished reading it.

The first half was so slow/boring that I dozed off 3 nights in a row while reading it. And a Dan Brown novel is something that one wants to finish in one long session only. That's how I went thru the earlier novels of his.
The second half was well paced, and interesting enough to keep me occupied.

Interesting story, has the regular Dan Brown start that is common to all his novels,a death at the beginning, and Robert Langdon being helped by a female that is somehow related to the person who dies/ is killed.

The story was thin, and short, stretched a bit too much at the start, and then compressed a lot towards the end.

Do read it if you are a Dan Brown fan. Do read it if you have an interest for European History, And Do read it if you want a decent story, with a fair bit of twists in it.

All in All, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5.

SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD but whatever lol.

Hey JD666 when I read the last word of the book I imagined the camera panning away from Langdon's plane to the night sky really quick and zooming in to this gif:

Hahaha, More like 3 times that or 1/3rd what was it! What was going thru my mind was the story of "In Time". If they could do what the book said, then In time would be child's play!

However the implications of such DNA altering steps would have been much worse on society, which can be discussed if people don't mind spoilers!

Yeah but the 'bad' guy (you know his name but I'm not spoiling it here) was right about the one-third thing, in the end it looked like the elderly woman (again, avoiding names) agreed with bad guy's methods.

The smarter people are putting off family for career and growth and money, the not-so-smart and not well to do are havin em by the dozen.

I remember this one time watch movie, Idiocracy, seen it?
