I cut myself almost all the time, not to mention the lights in my bathroom are ?#@*&%!^$~ing dim.
I used the old manly old spice and later Gillette. Both of them are terrible because they leave skin dry and stretchy.

Wondering if anyone can recommend a good aftershave which is non alcoholic(herbal ones do exist?)
Anyway, I checked prices online for some premium and luxury ones, which seems to be expensive like 20£ or so. Wondering if the cost is justified?

No it isn't. Invest in a cheaper after shave soothing balm. My Sis incidentally got me one from the UK.

After using the Regular after shave, apply the after shave balm. Works like a charm.

Else you can try Gillette after shave Gel. Works equally well, and not as expensive.

To be frank, I finished mine in 4 year. The first one I bought lasted for 2 year before I broke the bottle and second one lasted for another 2-3 years.

This old school thing tops everything:

Potassium alum - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I also end up cutting myself all the time. Actually someone recommended applying shaving cream and leaving it there for 15 mins. It really softens the beard/hair. Try once Banhammer. Works! Just asks for patience. What I do is apply cream and do something else for 15 mins... hot water even better, and palmolive lemon in by far the best shaving cream I've used.

Check Boots there. Use their after shave balm, cheap and oh so soothing. I tried it here, great stuff.
