Got a Motorola Razr Maxx.. Loving it. Still on 2.3.6 will update soon to ics.. Huge battery was the main usp for me. Pics coming soon!!
this used to be my dream phone once ! congrats .... meri aankhe khushi se nam ho gayi hain (my eyes are filled by tears of joy )
Lol guys.. yeah this phone is taking some getting used to. But i am impressed with the speed and the features.. This was purely bought to be online and on raid101 even on the go. I am happy that this can handle the full theme and all the features of the community. That was my first requirement. And even though this is the fatter version its so so slim rpm this was 400 rs cheaper than the note but the battery was the deal maker for me. Gotta learn more but this is a start for now.
Congrats bro.....this calls for a party!!! i was thinking this model wasn't available in India!! when did you buy it & what were the damages to the pocket??? & pics plzzzzzzzz!!!!!!
What I am liking at this point - The fluidity and smoothness of the UI. The feature packed social/email/sms integration etc. Not liking - the sim/memory card cover seems a bit flimsy, or maybe its just me. Rest of the build quality is great. A very understated phone by Motorola, let down by a sad marketing campaign. I actually had to call up the company to get the number of the area sales manager. He directed me to a shop in Gurgaon sector 14 Spice communication. This post is a rant about them as well. I was promised the phone in 5 minutes ( coming from another shop ). 20 mins go by, nothing. I suggested that I am going for lunch to the restaurant next door, please call me when it arrives. Yes sir Yes Sir absolutely. I get a call during my lunch that the phone will be there in another 10 mins. Total 1 hour + goes by, no phone. Then I get agitated, and am about to leave, when the same person tells me, sir no worries, we will get it delivered at your house. The boy will come and take payment ( card ) there itself. Impressed, I reach home. Time commited was 1730 hours. Till 1830 hours no response nothing. Infact those guys stopped picking up my phone as well. Finally called up the area sales manager, and told him that these guys are not interested, and were infact pitching a rival company's phone ( which they were, Samsung note ). He promptly got another vendor on the phone in conf. and got me the details. Went there, checked the phone, paid for it, and came back home, in less than an hour. Bottom line, a good range of phones, let down by bad marketing/PR/attitude of vendors. Not everyone is gonna go gaga over a S3 or a note or One X or V or something. Some people do like other stuff as well. Its like the Fiat owners of the automobile industry in India. But yes, anywhere and everywhere that I can, Spice Communication, Sector 14 Gurgaon is getting as negative a feedback as I can. Shitty service/Even Shittier customer dealing.
Congrats JD. Specs wise its a super phone. A little off on the looks though (personal opinion). Get it updated to ICS and then see the real good.
