My old contraption when I used to think : Where will i keep a power rack ? so use this & weights are weights lol.

    1.JPG

Started out buying the power rack first.

    2.jpg

Then an imported rubber mat which looks like it was made for this purpose as the size was perfect!

High height chin/pull-up bar, spray painted black, used best quality MS pipes.

used same high quality MS pipes to make a DIY dip "station" A separate dip station is 5-25k and takes extra space. This and the bar diy was about 3-4k including everything!

Indian 7 feet 50mm Olympic size bar along with good quality spring collars. I wanted to buy a very high quality bar. Elieko power lifting bar although available in India is for One lakh ! so it was ruled out and this is the best one available. Price: Rs. 2400/- (I don't think it can bear heavy dead lifting for long but I had no choice)

PS: Yes we still have old school TVs

Another angle... on the right is my room so my "gym" is 8 feet away from my bed. I will save time/cost of fuel/avoid bullcrap broscience and a lot of other useless shit that comes with commercial gym memberships :p

Great work @Rockfella. You could actually start marketing this kit as a whole set/DIY Gym at home with proper results rather than the crappy ones "As shown on TV".

Thanks buddy. I wanted to buy a cheaper Indian made but the cheapest I could find online was for Rs. 8900 with no bar holders, clumsy design with much bigger foot print and was not available rofl! This a popular model and is cleverly made.
Any brand suggestions of silicone spray?
Correct, picked it up from importer's showroom in Anand Niketan.
