Yup, budget is 30-35K. Need a 32incher Full HD LED TV. Usage is TV viewing only. Might be gaming somewhere down the line but that's a bleak probability.

Is it any good? Available at both Flipkart and Amazon

Vu is not a bad brand, but I would recommend doing a demo once. The specs are good enough.

You mentioned 32 inch, this is a 40 incher. What's the size limit?

I would recommend this for having Wi-Fi, 3x USB ports and Full HD display.

Can't Demo the Vu, dunno any place locally i.e. in Delhi that has them in stock , neither got the time to do so. Will take your word for it.
Regarding the size, 32 inch is minimum criteria, anything above it in the said price bracket would be a plus. Constraint this time is budget. Can't stretch it beyond 35K. LG one looks good on paper but thing is that its for my Father's bedroom and my mother has an affinity for Samsung but would compromise for Sony too. In case of Vu, they have forewarned of an @$$ whoppin' in case it goes kaput.
In case of Sony, there is this model Bravia KLV-32R422B, which on Sony's site says is capable of 1080/60p while on Flipkart it says that effective resolution is WXGA i.e. 1366x768
If latter is the case then I'd rather skip it. If you know of any better contenders from same manufacturer or Samsung, please do let me know.

All of the 1366x768 ones that say Full HD ready can downconvert and play Full HD stream, but essentially it's still a compromise.

True about the Vu going kaput bit, though we have one running fine for nearly 2 years now.

Ill scout around see if something else fits the budget. Else I would've recommended the Panasonic 42 inch model (excellent picture quality, sub 40k price, but it's an LCD).

Mom's kinda stuck on whole moving ahead with times thing so it has to be LED :p Lemme know if you find something else gonna look for something in Sony or Samsung's stable.

I would recommend this Philips over the VU, Better image Q, though 1 inch smaller.

Anything from Samsung/Sony won't fit the sub 35k budget, unless you reduce screen size. We've had a 37 inch S series from Sony running for over 5 years now, no issues.

^^ The Philips won't be as loud from my experience, but the image quality is at par with the Samsung.

Do you need the bill? There is a famous sardarji in Karol Bagh, you can get LEDs at a really good price from him.

Have to check back with me folks regarding the bill thing but please do tell me about the location of the shop. I'm currently residing in ORN only so Karol Bagh is literally across the street for me. Some legwork in vicinity I can surely do.

I'm set on Philips one. Just waiting for MOZ's input on the location of the Sardarji's shop. If price difference is decent and model is available there, might think about it, else Flipkart or Amazon, whoever gives better price.

Oooooh ooohhhh.. (insert more money oooo's here) Oddly enough i am also looking or a good 32 incher.
Budget isnt a problem, all i care about is image quality. Wifi streaming would be a plus. Will be connected to a HTPC using a second HDMI connector or something.
