Galaxy Note II to land in October with a 5.5 inch 1680 x 1050 pixel display Samsung likes to refresh their products every 12 months. Seeing as how the Galaxy Note started shipping in October 2011, that means we should see the successor to the highly successful 5.3 inch phablet in just a few months. According to sources who spoke toUbuntuLife, the Galaxy Note II will have a 5.5 inch screen that pushes 1680 x 1050 pixels. Under the hood there’s allegedly going to be a dual core Exynos 5 chip inside, an 8 megapixel camera, 1.5 GB of RAM, and 4G LTE. If this is real, then it’s set to be one of the first devices on the market to use ARM’s new Cortex A15 processor. What does that mean? Most companies use ARM’s processors when designing their chips. Take the NVIDIA Tegra 3 for instance, it has four ARM Cortex A9 processors. Qualcomm is a bit different. Instead of licensing ARM’s processors, they design their own from the ground up. The “Krait” processor in the Snapdragon S4 chip is faster than the ARM Cortex A9, but slower than the ARM Cortex A15. So again, this Note II might be one of the most insane products we’ll see this year in terms of benchmark numbers. What we really care about though is how Samsung plans to take advantage of whatever the newest version of Android is called. Google tends to announce a new version of their mobileoperating system , and a flagship Nexus device to run said OS, during the last three months of the year. There’s a high probability that the new Nexus will be a modified version of the GalaxySIII. If that’s the case, then what’s going to push people towards the 5.5 inch Note II? We could barely fit the 5.3 inch Note into our pockets, does Samsung really want to add an extra 0.2 inches on top of that?Anyway, you should take these rumors with a mountain of salt.Source : http://www.intomobile.com/2012/06/0...nd-october-55-inch-1680-x-1050-pixel-display/
Yes !!! another feather in the cap of Samsung !!! I love how they are refreshing and creating interest in their products !! meanwhile in another news... Today I went to 4 distributor level retailers and none of them had a single Samsung Galaxy SIII ! all of them have sold over 10 to 15 phones just today !!!
I used the galaxy note for a bit during the recent meet, and I must say I was impressed. The screen, the UI and the speed was more than impressive. Something that allowed me a full browsing experience, without my fingers hurting or cramped up for space. Definitely worth considering. I'm looking at it purely from the idea that I travel a lot, and need something with a good 3G speed, and decent screen size and processing power, so as to be able to access and do various things on our site .
Look me up if you want one. One of my guys just sold one for 18K Not a bad price overall.. but sadly one you're not going to beat cuz the buyer was guys from Gaffar market who have standing orders with my guy.. (They'll take any the guy gets.) So.. sadly no discounts for me
BTW.. if you want it for mobile.. This other guy (one I took HNP to) had the Dell Streak 7 2 inches bigger than the Steak/1.7" bigger than the Note.. but portable enough (not gonna fit tin pocket tho) Guy wanted 11 or 12K for it.. bargainable.. so appox 9-10K Can't beat that for portable browsing needs
^^ hehe, but Im surely gonna go for the new note. Or I could always use my dell mini 910 with a tata photon and a car 12V to 220V convertor wherever I go! lol.
You can have it for 18 .. or whatever he gets it at.. (sells it for) Problem is I need to be there on that day to pickup.. cuz idiots from Gaffar Market go there and buy all his phones Will tell him.. and if under 20K or less will pickup from him. (after my driver gets back.. all these guys are in remote areas of Delhi) Also.. can get you one from my guy at gaffar.. (roughly 22k - can call him tomorrow to find out) This guy can get you one any day of the month. LOL.. last time he had a Chinese Samsung S3 for 2.2K .. was almost tempted (My other guys get them whenever they get them)
I am selling my note. Will get the one Lucifer can get me Will save those odd 10 grands, invest them and by the time Note 2 is launched, I'll have enough money to buy it.
