So I am selling my PC as mentioned in the other thread. The plan is to buy some current generation hardware for occasional gaming, Movies, and Regular Internet usage.

I like the real estate space that a 22 inch monitor offers, even while browsing the net.

Would a Gaming laptop make sense? If I start building a rig with current components, it would still be around 80,000/- or so for a Desktop.

Is there a possibility of a decent (not over the top), very decent gaming laptop in the same (probably lesser) money?

The best Gaming Laptop buy right now is the Lenovo Y500 .. best if you get it from the US of A. Costs about a $1000 and a pretty good GT750M Graphics card.
    Best VFM buy atm.
