    well depression is a real problem even in India.
    Though we will just discard it. it is real problem with intellectuals.

    Well we need a system in place for counseling and timely checks. A simple idea would involve having a questionnaire made and distributed amongst the students to be filled.

    This can be made compulsory every 3 months etc. And I'm pretty sure that psychology experts can come up with variants of the same questionnaire that help track emotional and mental changes in a particular student. Any disparity can be highlighted by a computer and then those students can be approached for counseling or therapy.

    yeah, mental health should be a thing, sadly it is not a thing.
