50" Panasonic Plasma - 125k MotherCare Toddler's toy - 500/- Smirk on the kid's face while using the toy on the tv - Priceless! TV is damaged beyond repair. Need recommendations for another set. 50" or more. Tagging Luciffer This is what kids do!
Apparently, it is a show off. I have zeroed in on the Samsung 8000 Series Plasma. Either the 51" or the 64" (depending on the availability in Shillong/Guwahati). Should be here on Tuesday. So, in effect, my kid has gifted me a new tv (which I will have to pay for, obviously).
I am so sorry but in a good way coz it is your kid.. and now you have to get a new one which would be obviously better.. But just make sure that the kid doesn't make a habit of it or you will be having your Eidi every week or even less.. nice spirit you have of relaying these things..
lol, I have twins and they run in opposite directions all the time. I am just wondering with gazillion toys they have at home someday anyone of my loved gadgets is going to get it. They have officially already broken a smartphone so I am sure they can do a lot of damage. Thank you for sharing, I will make sure all my gadgets are out of their reach
Now it's ok because your kid is small, but after a few years. Don't act so optimistic, even if you feel it from inside. This might spoil your kid on a longer run. Most kids are spoiled because of too much love given to them by their parents.
Whoa!! You really captured your Kid's Masterpiece. Can show the pics to him when he grows up that how naughty he used to be. I like your view about this...
TH-P65VT50D | Panasonic did you get the point across to your toddler that this was a bad thing to do ? because if you just smiled and moved on, you set a very bad example. and it has nothing to do with money.
The kid has The kid has understood that what he did was unacceptable and has apologised (does that by covering both his ears) and I am sure he won't do it again. I would not have reprimanded a 15 month old kid under any circumstances. However, to prevent any such incidents, I have already mounted the 2nd TV (Same model/make) that we have on the wall. I have already placed an order for a Samsung PS64E8000GR and the same is in transit. Should be here in a few days. I wanted the Panasonic but no dealer is carrying Panasonic in Shillong due to some company policy. This TV too will be wall mounted to prevent any incidents with the kid(s)
i never asked to reprimand. there is always a way to get the point across ..which i think you did interesting thing, panny has finally launched this year's series here.
As per AVSforums, the E8000 Samsung TVs have better blacks than the VT50 Panasonic TVs. I am still doing a lot of reading. However, given an option, I would have got the Panasonic with my eyes closed. Since this is not an option, the Samsung is what I settled for. This particular TV is fully loaded. Comes with 4 Pairs of 3D Glasses (Active but can be worn over prescription glasses and are very light). The TV also has wifi built in and apparently plays every format that you can throw at it with its in-built media player. Also, the 3D is breathtaking, I am told. Will try to put up a review if I can take some time out.
$? i hope they brought in the 50 inch one too. both panny and sammy always bring only 60+ at the top end.
For which one? This Samsung is listed for 240k. I don't know what my dealer (my friend/tenant) will charge me for it. The Panasonic 65 is listed for about the same price I am told but am not too sure about it. the VT50 50" is available for just above 100k
