Lol, he's been going on about Argentina in every episode (directly or indirectly). I'm guessing this is not going to last. He's going to be back soon whether the BBC likes it or not. The people love him!

yeah, seems that the BBC director had it inside him for ages to remove Clarkson, and this was an apt issue. The argument happened over a dinner that was to be served to the team after wrapping up their shooting for the day. They were late in reaching the restaurant of the hotel, and the chef had gone for the day. He was offered a cold platter instead of a steak that he wanted, and the argument began.
Statement from BBC - " confirming that last night’s show (15th March) was to be postponed following an incident during production. The incident in question is currently being investigated and Ken MacQuarrie, the director of BBC Scotland, has been appointed to lead this process.
