Yeah, it's not just a day for iFans but for KTM fans as well. The much anticipated, fully faired sports versions of the crazy KTM Duke 200 and Duke 390 are to be launched in India on the 9th of September. Not much change is expected in terms of drive train or gearing, However the main changes are in the way the bikes are now setup with Clip on handlebars, A full Fairing for added Aerodynamic stability, Reworked suspension tune levels. The bikes look identical on the outside, with the exception of the 390 coming with ABS as standard. The 200 produces a tingling 25 BHP that I have had the privilege to enjoy thoroughly. The 390 makes 44 BHP that puts it right up there with the Ninja 300 and the likes. The RC 390 above ^^ The dual headlights and the lower lip remind me of the Suzuki Katana and Street Hawk A full fairing should allow for the rider to tuck in properly, and achieve much higher top speeds. I love what they have done to the rear styling, minimalistic and edgy. Nice work. Yep, that's a pillion seat right there Integrated blinkers in the Rear view mirrors. Though I like the sleek LED units as well. You can see how compact the machine is. Weighing in, the 200 is 137 kgs and the 390 is 148 kgs. There has been a weight increase compared to the Dukes, but I'm pretty sure the Aerodynamic efficiency gained will help performance. More on September 9th then!
