Another one - #1To chill a drink or in the general case, a beer really fast, Wrap a wet towel around the bottle or can and then pop it in the freezer. The water will ensure that it cools much faster. #2 To make Dosas or pancakes, put the mixture in a wide mouth squeezy bottle (Heinz works like a charm). Easier and no mess!
Stick velcro strips under the carpet mat in your car. The velcro will hold the carpet firm against the base liner and ensure that it does not slip while driving or resting your heel on it. A number of accidents do occur when the mat slips and gets lodged under the brake. I just did a small DIY to ensure it does not happen in my vehicle
If you are watching your calorie intake, or trying to avoid boozing or binge eating too much, try this trick (works brilliantly for me at least). Have a soda ( not what Muricans call soda, just soda or also called soda water) or a bottle of sparkling water before and along your food. It'll give you that tummy full sensation that'll help you control your food intake. Also it is any day a healthier alternate than Pepsi or Coke. I like to sip it when I'm not in a mood for drinking alcohol, but would like to have something to sip on.
What is wrong with drinking normal water though. I love taste of water over pretty much every drink in existence.
Screeching fan or pump belt in your engine bay? For a quick fix pour some coke or Pepsi on the inside of the belt that touches the pulley. The sound will be gone in no time. No power loss either since the beverage will make the belt sticky. Works like a charm.
To keep salt or any other spice from turning chunky due to moisture, pack a little rice (uncooked) in a small cloth and put it in the spice container. It will absorb the moisture and keep your salt free flowing Sent from my HTC One mini using Tapatalk
When packing for traveling, roll your clothes rather than stacking them the way you would in your cupboard. You'll be able to pack more in a given space. If you have drawers, stack your clothes horizontally, rather than one on top. This will save you from a lot of yelling from your Ma or Mrs.
Lol, I've tried the rolling thing when at home my mom always smacks me ruining the hours she put into ironing them ..
