According to an article I read, Maruti is recalling 69,555 cars to fix a faulty wiring in the wiring harness. The recall affects vehicles manufactured between March 8, 2010 and August 11, 2013.

Affected vehicles are Diesel variants only of Dzire and Swift (55k Dzires and 12.5k Swift).

1100 odd Ritz models are also affected.

Owners who have vehicles purchased/manufactured during this period are advised to get in touch with the company directly thru their website. Maruti is also planning to contact the owners directly and get this rectification done.

No further details with regards to the exact issue were mentioned.
