Microsoft announces it's own Surface tablets, in RT and x86 versions !

True true .. quite true .. BUT it all depends on which ecosystem do you prefer ..
Google or MS , personally I have a lot more invested in my Google services . .(paid & otherwise) so it will be a serious consideration on my part and by all the other hardcore users of Android..


Using Win8 shouldnt mean giving up or abandoning Android .. If Microsoft plays nice then, it can achieve for tablets what Google did for smartphones.

 

What .. I was talking about the ecosystem of services and apps .. I have all my data uploaded on various Google services ..if I move to Win 8 will I still be able to access all that data conveniently ..

Will Win8 provide me equal support for Google services.. its not about hacking or modding.. these things allows us extra benefits of owning a particular device.

A lot of Android users will definitely consider this as well before switching.

So I said if Microsoft is open to Google porting its services over to Win8 then its a win-win for both parties ..however if MS plays dirty like iOS and restricts Google's presence then we will have a three-front for tablet domination..

 

Hold of for the Surface 2 atleast ..

 

First Iterations usually have their bundle of issues .. Jumping on the bandwagon is never a good idea.

 

I am talking about Hardware standard maturity .. all their fancy stick on glass and dual digitizer business & MIMO -- all this need real world grilling.

 

This isnt the Original Surface .. Its a glorified tablet .. and meticulously designed R&D prototypes and China made mass-produced consumer electronics don't bear the same comparison ..

 

The surface has its roots to the first tablet introduced by Gates, which the general public , meh-ed
