Modern Combat 5: Blackout, one of the most awaited games is finally going to launch this month for Android and IOS. Gameloft has officially confirmed that the latest installment of one of the most popular franchises in mobile gaming industry - Modern Combat will be releasing on the 24th of July. This is one of the games that all the smartphone and tablet gamers were waiting for. The initial trailer was released last year and gamers have been waiting since then for the game to release. The previous installment Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour was a huge success and the multiplayer aspect of the game was highly appreciated. As a result, expectations are really high from this installment too. On the mobile platform, Modern Combat franchise is the closest you get to the Call of Duty and Battlefield franchise on PC and consoles. The game will have unified progression which means you will have to unlock guns which you can then use in singleplayer campaign and multiplayer. Multiplayer will support a 6 vs 6 battle and will have four modes: Capture the Flag, Free for All, Team Battle and VIP. The game also introduces a new class system. There will be four classes and each of them having their own weapon class and perks. The four classes are: Assault Assault rifles Pistols Heavy Shotguns Launchers Recon Submachine guns Pistols Sniper Sniper rifles Pistols Now the game won't be cross platform which means Android players won't be able to play with IOS players in multiplayer.
