Movie : Jaani Dushman ( ek anokhi kahani )

    For information : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaani_Dushman:_Ek_Anokhi_Kahani

I dint find many you tube links that could do justice to this epic movie. Its one of those you-have-to-watch-it-to-believe-it types.

Hard to find a package that has all of it. Screenplay, direction, acting, dialogues, music, anything at all - it fails on each and every aspect of movie making. Its so pathetic that it gets funny.

    Verdict : :fp:

    Name - Cloverfield
    Director - Matt Reeves
    Year - 2008

    Trailer -

    Rating - 8/10

For what the movie begins with, and in no time takes a sudden change, you are left wanting and thinking more and more. What happens next, How did it happen in the first place. Superlike, must recommended watch for anyone who has not seen this film.

    Movie - Pulp Fiction
    Year - 1994
    Director - Quentin Tarantino

One of the craziest movies ever. The storyline/editing kills me everytime I see it. The way the story runs and then suddenly everything patches up is un believable. For some its a love/hate relation with this movie, but its definitely worth a watch to understand how far cinema has progressed/developed!

    Rating 8/10

The Amazing Spiderman - Couldn't really amaze me.

I shouldn't really be comparing the previous version to this one but couldn't stop myself. I'd say Toby did an amazing job with the role but Mr. Garfield even aced that. The action was absolutely mind blowing. But thats all. The script was weak. (I mean why do they need to twist the facts ??? ... the actual comic story). None of the dialogues coul
d make a mark and the whole saga is out of your mind as soon as you leave the theater.
I wouldn't rate it more than 7 (out of which 4 would directly go for the action sequences and the dexterity this guy has shown in executing those).
And let me tell you, when you watch such movies, you live that moment, you become a part of that unreal world all that while. This one couldn't hold me back much. The old one did a lot better for me.

    The Amazing Spiderman .. 7.5/10

A no-nonsense reboot .. mainly because it didnt try to redo all the cliches of the previous movie.
    Namely
    -Peter Parkers pathetic social life
-Uncle Ben's death .. One shot and BAM he dead ..No drama.
-The Daily Bugle .. it was missed to due to the comic relief it provided in the last series but wasnt really needed since Spidey is still highschool Senior.

    Characters: -
The movies cast felt stronger in every sense .. from Casting Martin Sheen/Sally Field as Parker's guardians.
Peter Parker is a gadget-loving skateboarding punk this time around rather than a nerdy photographer .. he's more of a New Yorker this time, more gritty .. a NYC seems a lot more realistic too.

And finally, Gwen Stacy .. the most welcome change. A character worthy of standing next to our new & emotionally stable Spidey. Smart , strong & Kickass - a refreshing portrayal far from the usual damsel-in-distress Spidey-bait that Mary Jane had going.I can write only so much about her character without giving away the story.. but every scene she is in inspires a lot of confidence in her.

The Villain is a typical one from the Spider-verse.

    Story-
While some bits of the story arc do feel rushed .. I suppose to make room for the action sequences. The creators assumed you are already familiar with the Spidy-Universe .. so raced though some of the important build-ups of the movie or perhaps left them for later.

CGI- Nothing too far beyond the previous series .. Although there is marked difference in the visual interpretation of Spidey.. Earlier series was more comic-y, the Spidey costume seemed more bright (comic-y) .. this Spidey (and his costume) is more realistic and human.

AND FINAL VERDICT - The 3D version sucks.. save your money enjoy the movie more in 2D

    The Amazing Spiderman
    I loved the movie,
    3-D was brilliant
as for story, it was not bad per se.
The actors were cool except for irfan khan, who seems to be there for no reason at all.

I found the 3D version quite poor .. there was too much lag in the 3D rendered scenes.

The climax sequence where Spidey swings across the city gave goosebumps.

Also after watching TDKR I found the two movies had similar underlying themes due to which I have high hopes for this Spidey reboot ..
