I mean ?#@*&%!^$~ing elves, they are cool and smooth, the master race of fiction verse.

Only time I liked Orlando bloom is when he portrays Legolas. But mother?#@*&%!^$~ing legolas, smooth mother?#@*&%!^$~er.

    Lucy - 6.5/10

The action packed trailer pretty much covers each and every action sequence in movie - so keep you expectations low. Overall a very rushed (fastpaced ?) movie that plays out more like a show-n-tell .. otherwise the movie has the Luc Besson trademark, Paris visuals & car chases through a busy street & & straight faced acting

    Starring: Scarlett Johannson, Morgan Freeman.
Co-Starring: Scarlett Johannson's ?#@*&%!^$~s, Morgan Freeman's raspy voice, lot of sci-fi mumbo jumbo.

Although props for being the only movie in a long time to really just go crazy with the Sci-Fi justification. Full credits to the back story has enough substance to
carry through a mini-series of sorts, the movie was quite quite rushed just to tie it up at the end.

Watched Edge of Tomorrow. Really really nice. Thankfully a good film. Definitely worth a watch.

It is like Groundhog day, except that this has aliens. Anything that has aliens and a time loop is hard to miss :D

    My Rating - 4/5

Also watched another Jude Law Masterpiece. His monologues and use of words (kudos to the writer, and to Jude Law) are terrific in this movie.

A lot of profanities, but abso?#@*&%!^$~inglutely worth it.

    Do watch Dom Hemingway

    Watched Life of Crime -

    Life_of_Crime_Poster.jpg

The movie is really really slow and really speeds up after about 70 minutes into it (out of a total 100 odd minutes).

I actually had to see it in parts :D But a good one time watch.

    My rating - 2.5/5

    Humming bird , Jason Statham.
It is not that of a movie, I would rate it 65% easily.

    Graves of Fireflies
I mean animes are infamous for exaggerating emotional drama but Ghibli is totally different.
I already knew this movie is going to be sad, so I put my bar a bit higher that it will be giant tragedy but it was more subtle than I thought.
The first 1 hour of movie is sad but there are a lot of happy moment, but in next 10 minutes it takes a nose dive and crushes the very soul.
The movie is goldy good, one of the best I have seen. It can make you cry(though I didn't cry but surely felt a something unsettling in my stomach).
    98% score.

    Watched Dante's inferno.
    What an uber shit movie.

    Princess Mononoke.
It gets too much about saving environment and stuff, so if you ignore that there was a greater message in the whole thing(or if you like the greater message) either way it is a great movie. Ghibli doesn't disappoint.

    My Neighbour Totoro
Just plain beautiful sceneries and 2-d animation is amazing. The great chemistry between sisters.
There is one moment in the movie where I though this is going down the same spiral as Fireflies, but thank god it didn't end up being sad.
    92% rating.

Watched the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

The new turtles kinda grew on me, especially that they are more gritty and rugged. Megan Fox looks like she dipped her whole face in Botox or some crap. Unbelievably plasticky and just not here. It was hard to recognize her in some shots.

The alternate beginning kinda sank in, especially her connection to the turtles. However the Ninja training idea was kind of lame and half hearted. Shredder's scars were also not explained in the movie. No reason was given (or atleast I did not find one) for his armor and why he needs it. Maybe I was looking for a Darth Vader like explanation.

Supposedly there's going to be a sequel in 2016, and Casey Jones is going to be in it. Looking forward to it.

    I rate it - 2.5/5
