Well, I will be posting pictures of my new keyboard build as and when different parts arrive.

    1. Starting off with the keyboard roof

    2. Next up are the semi-translucent keycaps

    3. The keyboard: Ducky ZERO DK2108 - Cherry MX Blue
Came with a keycap remover and extra pink WASD cluster. Built like a tank this is so much more solid than my older TV-E gold (All plastic) and even better than the Razer BWU. The letters are laser engraved, however the pink cluster keys are pad-printed (Not good Ducky). It has full NKRO over USB, some extra (4) kets right above the numpad. Also has win-key lock for the gaming sessions. Nothing flashy, read extra macro buttons and LEDs. I have had a backlit and honestly wasn't a fan. Thus ordered this. Very happy with purchase, except the switch which I managed to break in less than hour of possession. Really hoping my rate of wreckage reduces over the time I use this :p

    4. The donor board (For extra Cherry MX switches), TVS-e Gold Bharat Edition PS2
Check this post for the board's internals:

Geekhack is the biggest mechanical keyboard enthusiast sit on the interwebz. It is a testament to that site.

Yesterday was the most gruesome day. Spent entire day at Foreign Post Office Delhi. It was a very very bad experience. Good thing was that before I reached, my parcel had been verified and duty applied on it. Trust me the fact that I had to pay duty was the least of the worries given the way things work around there and the xxxx number of signatures needed from sarkari babus that don't sit at their seats, it was all worth it. The new keyboard has arrived and it is damn solid. Probably can use as a weapon so shouldn't have it at LAN parties, someone might die :p

    Pictures coming in the evening.

BTW, while playing with it, I already broke one of the switches :/

    Posted pictures.

Broke the switch by jamming a 3rd party keycap which was slightly tight and then when it wouldn't come of with love and care, used brute force. It resulted in the blue stem of the switch popping out, along with the spring and the the white casing too, as one of the spring's turns was stuck in it. It could have been fixed, however I lost the casing :(.

Since I will be testing a number of keycaps, I might face a similar situation again. sad I know. Also will be getting a better keycap puller, as the one supplied has a tendency to slip-up or slightly scratch the key.

Also will get an el-cheapo TVS and use it as a donor board (Mainly the MX Blue switches) for future similar wreckages. The switches used on the TVS are genuine cherry switches and you get 104 cherry switches for 1400 (Rs. 13.5 each), whereas one individual switch in the US itself is Rs 40 excluding shipping to US address and then India.

Because either I suck at English and interpreting it or you suck at forming sentences. Most likely the latter. :p

Arrgg, sorry!!!! The missing word was "bad".

My point is this seems like a really well priced keyboard even in UK.

Yeah, it is produced by Ducky Channel, which are one of the best manufacturers of mechanical keyboards, they are OEM. This is their cheapest board, hence at the bottom end of the mechanical boards spectrum, but still better than almost all "gamer" mechanical keyboards with their fancy bells and whistles.
