After being in the works for over 6 years, it's finally out!

Some pics from the website -

Continental GT 01.jpg Continental GT 02.jpg Continental GT 03.jpg Continental GT 04.jpg Continental GT 05.jpg Continental GT 06.jpg Continental GT 07.jpg

    The specs are -

535cc, single cylinder, 29 BHP, 5-Speed. Top speed around 130 kmph.

Priced - 2.05 Lakhs in Delhi, and 2.15 Lakhs in Mumbai.

    Is it nice?

    You bet.

    Would it sell?

Surely would dampen about 40-50% of potential buyers, but eventually would manage to rope em in. How RE handles it's after sales service and support is what leaves a lot to be desired from.

They have to step out from the 'chalta hai' service to 'yes absolutely' service.

This will purely tug at the heart strings .. for a performance bike one would have to settle with the Duke 390 which out does it in every spec ..

Also this is ride-for-one only .. so probably for someone who already own a 4 wheeler .. wants to regular joy ride.

The dials cluster is gorgeous .. mix of retro and modern.

Hoping to see a matte black version soon :)

You would get a 125 license there. The RE would be a few years away. Start now!

Nothing can sound like the RD, that was a twin cylinder, 2 stroke. This is a single 4 joke.

For something to sound like that it would have to be a multi cylinder at the very least.
