Which are a boon while flying. Sleeping and enjoying good movies while flying has been a recurring issue for me. A neck pillow helped to some extent, but the stock headphones just don't cut it. Finally got my hands on a decent entry level Noise Cancellation headset - The Panasonic RP-HC720 - The tech specs - Reviews do call this a decent entry level headset on a budget. The noise Cancellation is at par, not above or any great shakes. Will get to test em on my return flight. Good thick plastic casing with velvet lining. The headsets are a tad tight if you have a large head, but they cup your ears really well and make for a very good sound proof seal (again only if you have small ears) Also got a Satechi Bluetooth speaker with microphone. Allows you to hook up this table top speaker to your phone for music, or for con-calls. The regular ones have music functionality only. However this has a Conversation facility which is handy when at work or sitting at my desk. Got a Li-ON Battery that gives it a decent amount of life. Not tested fully yet, but hoping to use it extensively with my Cell phone while driving or at home.
Wow .. excellent buy These are thing you never realize you need unless you buy them .. Noise Cancellation are great during summers as well to down out the sound of ACs n Fans at home
Good stuff to add to your armoury of nifty gadgets. Personally I am not a fan of noise cancellation headphones as they kill the naturalness of sound, but I suppose for your line if work, natural sound really doesn't exist
Yep. Thats the issue. However even with noise cancellation turned off the sound is really decent. The headset could do with a bit more bass though. Just tested on my phone till now. Gotta hook up to a proper source to check capability.
