Alright, now ever since Maggi has launched the pazzta range, I am a fan of the tomato flavour version. After trying out many versions/types, this is one that satisfies me most - Ingredients - 1) One packet of Double pack of Maggi Pazzta 2) One cheese cube ( Amul or Britannia ), you can use cheese slice also. 3) Some cut olives 4) a little butter 5) Oregano for seasoning. Process - This is where I differ slightly. 1) Instead of a saucepan take a fry pan and spread out the pasta and the masala in it. Put 2 cups or roughly 450ml of water and cook on med/high flame. 2) Keep stirring to ensure no clumps are formed, and the pasta does not stick ( I use a non-stick, so no issues there ) 3) Once the water is nearly about to dry out, add a lump of butter, and after a few seconds once the butter is melted fully, add the cheese, cut up and spread out. 4) Lower the flame, and ensure that the butter and cheese get mixed well into the pasta. The butter and cheese add that much needed fat/energy requirement for those pestering kids who don't like eating and don't put on weight or stay healthy. 5) Once that is done, and everything is properly mixed, add the oregano towards the end ( cooked oregano is not that great ) 6) Top off with sliced olives ( or anything else you would prefer ) , and you are done. Options - 1) Instead of butter, a lil olive oil can be used as well 2) Take a slice of bread, layer it with garlic sauce, toast and have along. 3) You can also add onion, capsicum etc etc to the mix, however they require baking, so won't really be that much fun. Some images from the recent cooking ( a few mins ago ) Adding the cheese. The cheese mixed up and olives added. Topped off with Oregano and served. Yum! Cheers!!
