DSLR in the hood ?#@*&%!^$~es. I'm gonna ISO your a$$ up and post process once I finish with yo. Let the pics do the talking - All the gear together ready for unboxing Wi-Fi Adapter for the Camera for image transfer (Still gotta figure out the details) As the box says, 55-200 lens. And an 18-55 Lens. Flip LCD, 39 point focus sensor, 5 FPS shooting, Stereo audio, etc etc. The choice was between this and the D3200, however it was decided to go for this for the better images and not to have the urge to upgrade to anything fancier later on. Didn't like the quality of the strap too much (compared to Nikon of yore). Time to read the User's Manual
Congrats! First DSLR? Should have added a 50mm 1.8G, or a 18-105 instead of the 18-55. Good buy though!
Thank you Thank you. The idea is to add a 35mm later. Flipkart apparently has a deal going. DSLR yes, SLR nope. Have a old Nikon SLR lying somewhere at home
Nice! Only thing about the 35mm's is that i had 2 lemons when i got mine, one had a front focus issue and the second one had back focus problems. Im not sure if the D5200 lets you adjust those things on the camera itself. Keep an eye out for this.
D5200 doesn't have AF Fine Tuning sadly .. but ive never heard of any complaints with the 35mm -- its usually a very reliable lens.
Duly noted kind sire. --- Double Post Merged, Sep 3, 2014 --- Which is all Greek to me at this point (AF Fine Tuning). Which is alarming to say the least.
Ah yes. This is one thing i truly love about my D7100. Plus it saves different settings for different lenses. Because of the sad experience with the 35mm, i kinda suggest the 50mm 1.8G to everyone. The focal length translates to around 75mm on a crop sensor, but this lens is worth every penny. Or even the 40mm 2.8 micro. Though this one is way slower than the 35 or the 50, but the lens itself is bloody amazing.
You can tune the Auto Focus motor from within the camera settings .. so if your lens isn't focusing where it should (few cm here n there) you can adjust that. The AF tuning gets saved on the camera and whenever you attach that particular lens the default Auto Focus values of the lens are over-ridden. When did you get D7100 !! .. weren't you a canon boy ?
