The Note 4 does bring a 2560x1440 resolution screen and the fact that it is the only device that will support Samsung's Virtual Reality headset, what was more interesting was the fact that Samsung also had a Note Edge on display, in which the screen tapers off on one side and can be used for a variety of features. It's like actually taking the rumored wrap around screen for the iPhone and making it a reality. All images copyright digitalspy.co.uk The interesting bits? The Note 4 runs 4.4 out of the box. It also has a faster version of Samsung's Touch Wiz UI. 5.7 inch screen, 518 ppi 16 MP rear camera with 8X Digital zoom and OIS (which Samsung credits as a first in a phone, but the Lumia 1020 had it way before). The front camera gets bumped up to 3.7 MP (from 2 in the Note 3) and get's a much wider aperture for better low light selfies. Oh and the heart sensor next to the LED flash can also be used for clicking selfies. Whoa so much emphasis on Selfies. It has all the regular features that the S5 does, but improves on multi-tasking due to the multi-window operation and the S-pen, which is even more sensitive and responsive than before. A 3220 mAH battery that can be removed, and can be charged upto 50% in about 30 minutes. It also has a ultra low power mode that can stretch the last 10% of the battery over 24 hours. They have for once gone with a metal body to take the fight to Apple, and have given it a premium feel. Honestly, the only 2 bits that I'm excited about are the VR headset and the Edge with it's tapered screen. A 5 inch + phone is any day too damn big for me to use on a daily basis. The Lumia 1020 in fact with its 4.5 inch screen does Bag duty and is pulled out only for capturing shots. Lemme know if anyone gets a chance to go hands on with the Note 4, would be interesting to get some actual feedback.
