So my faithful Choiix is showing signs of dying out on me. The pack has served me 3 useful years. However now it does not hold charge for more than 2 days and starts to drain automatically. I have to keep topping it every 2 days.

    Advice needed.

    Capacity - 3000 + mAH atleast
Pricing - As reasonable as possible
Brands - No unknown brands, should have good battery

Will be buying from - Either FlipKart or Ebay USA.

Don't really need a powerbank for it. And 12,000 mAh is double the capacity of a generic netbook. For 1500/- I seriously doubt it.

    watt-hours = milliampere-hours × volts / 1000

    Check now .. :D

You got me with the maths, but isn't a 12,000 mAh battery pack the same as 12,000/1000 = 12aH battery? (Ideal condition, even though it wouldn't give 12Amps for 1 Hr).

    And at what voltage? 5V?

What do you need to know, USB chargers operate at 5V, although they can take 3.3V as well and your phone will show a slow charging notification in those cases.

You want to make sure it allows for the required current as well. The VOX one has no proper specification, so I would be a little wary.
