    The HTC Desire 816 , like any other phone has its own pros n cons. The phone looks quite similar to the HTC One or M8 , but lacks behind when compared on specs and performance. The display is a huge 5.5'' and has a good quad core processor clocked at 1.6ghz. The only reason of selecting this as the no.1 contender in the 20-25k range is the reliability of the brand , other manufacturers do provide better specs in the same price range but lack on the build quality and reliability.

    A few months back this monster of a device from Nokia was priced around 35-40k which was a bit more once would likely spend on a mobile device , though the recent price drop brought this device well within what one could spend on a phone with such features and a great camera. Switching from Android to Win Phone OS might be a problem for a few but once you have got used to it you will never get back to Android. The display is 4.5'' but the processor is a dual core 1.5ghz , which could have been better for a device of this range.

    Other options :-

    Sony Xperia Z- The Sony Xperia Z was one of the first fully waterproof smartphones in the market , at the time of the launch this was the buyers choice. If you are more after looks go for the Xperia Z eyes closed. (Rs.28.499/-)

    Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini-
    The Galaxy S5 mini is the predecessor of the S5 which is Samsung's flagship model. It offers the S5's design n technology in a smaller size. (Rs.26,499/-)

    Apple iPhone 5c-
    With a plastic body and options to chose from a wide range of vibrant colors , the iPhone 5c is the cheaper model of the iPhone 5. Comes with 1gb of ram and a display size of 4''. Meant for those who want to try iOS out on a budget. (Rs.27,000/-)

    Moto X (2nd Gen)- After the success of the Moto X , Motorola launched the Moto X 2nd Gen hoping to get the same market hype they got with the Gen1 of the phone but failing to do so. The Moto G 2nd would have been a better choice if it was priced a bit lower. (Rs.31,999/-)

    Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro- The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is the flagship device from the company Lenovo. The phone comes with a 6'' quad hd display with a resolution of 2560x1440 which makes the display unbeatable. The 16mp primary camera has the capability to record videos at 4k, it also supports slow and fast motion video recording. (Rs.32,999/-)
