I know it's a jumble. But this query comes from a friend of mine. He has a budget around 50k, would like the new detachable series machine, but it should be rugged enough to handle bumps at the hands of his 2 kids. Anyone any idea? I could think of DELL, which has touch, but the screen is not detachable.
The cheapest I could find was a HP envy2 at around 60k http://www.flipkart.com/hp-envy-x2-11-g004tu-laptop-2nd-gen-adc-2gb-64gb-emmc-win8/p/itmdgrxbfjn3ujzz?pid=COMDGRXBNW8GBJZ5&ref=afdc8483-1470-4ec3-9b3f-ff6ba5507267&srno=t_1&otracker=from-search&query=HP%20envy%202 How does this Dell sound? http://www.flipkart.com/dell-inspiron-15-3521-laptop-3rd-gen-ci5-4gb-1tb-win8-2gb-graph/p/itmdggm4rjyjfnrb?pid=COMDHHFSPFHBJZXH&ref=45d57fda-b310-4f3d-b5c4-f096f7a7a11c It's not detachable, but has a touch screen, which he is cool with. But why the hell don't they go above 1366x768 resolution! This ASUS i totally drooled over, though it's not detachable - http://www.flipkart.com/asus-s550cm-cj054h-ultrabook-3rd-gen-ci5-4gb-750gb-24gb-ssd-win8-2gb-graph-touch/p/itmdhuesmczpht4c?pid=COMDHUDFRGWY7KQV&ref=97e0c85c-f9d2-4f4b-95ee-ece7e22de6f4
