Facebook Is Now Recording Everyone You Stalk Do you like looking at the profiles of people you don't know that well on Facebook? Of course you do, because we're all sick and it's fun. One wrinkle: there's now a list of everything you search for on FB. Starting today, Facebook says: A Facebook rep tells us the feature is currently rolling out to users, but you should be seeing it soon. That last part is important: this is information that's only accesible by you (and Facebook). It's also not retroactive, because that would give the entire Internet a simultaneous panic attack. But if you've got something to hide, just make sure nobody sees that list—or delete your search history, which is an easy option. But it's an option you'll have to keep tabs on atop the rest of your incriminating search history. This stuff is starting to pile up! [Facebook]
What.. ?? Facebook or Google will never reveal your personal searches .. Where does Youtube show your search history ?
Google has been doing this for a while. Privacy is not really the greatest strength of these companies.
Your search history is only available to only you .. and no other individual. You can very well opt-out of the Web History feature and monthly reminders are sent to tell you the information that Google has collected about you. Anonymity and Privacy are different matters today .. you can't be anonymous but you can certainly demand to keep your matters private. You activity logs whether by your ISP or cookies or IP are there, its just the matter of who has access to them.
Jesus! for a sec when i read this i was in panic mode! lmfao.. if they had to make it public.. i'd be a dead man right now!
