Information Steam running faster on Linux

As per the initial tests carried out on a new platform with not so stable release, still valve is fast on linux

What does this mean in the entirety ?

Will we get to play all of Valves games on Linux ??

 

That is the whole point of porting it to linux in the first place.

 

Okay .. then it will also encourage third party devs to port their games to Linux also through Steam ..

But the driver support has always been lacking in Linux so can games perform at par with Windows ?

 

They are working on it, if you recall Nvidia is supporting tegra on andriod very well.

 

yes but the drivers were still proprietary .. they never make them Open Source.

 

sigh, that has set linux atleast 10 years back.
