Need something for regular shooting, not too expensive (under 10k).

    Requirements -

    - Instant click, no waiting for focus stuff. I don't like cameras that don't click when you press the button.
    - Ability to shoot in 3MP or lower - For photos that I want to upload quickly without resizing.

    - compact

    - Rechargeable battery

    Thanks in advance!

you can ask for faster AF, but instant no focus pics are like mashed potato served to a fellow with andhra taste buds. that said, i don't know which model to go for. but you should look for low light performance and fast AF.

Panasonic LX7 is a good camera, i recently bought the Panasonic GF6 and i like it.

Most of Panasonic pns are are made in japan so build quality is quite good.

For 10k pricebracket look for Sony wx150. Panny Tz30 costs 12.5-13k...I own one. Its fast n good battery 300 shots.

Lx-7 is quite costly though one of fastest compacts out there its not quite pocketable.

    Wx150, wx200 are the choices.

Budget is below 10k, preferably around the 7k mark. Doubt the Panny will fit that?
