Hi Guys! I had to create another account because the password reset mail was not being delivered to my previous "Duffman" account so that's one issue to look into. The other 2 are related to Facebook and Google Integration. The Facebook integration gives following error Code: A controller for the route path register%2Ffacebook was not found. Good thing is that this is shown on the Raid101 page itself whilst the Google's error is: Code: Error: redirect_uri_mismatch The redirect URI in the request: http://raid101.com/community/index.php?register/google&assoc=1 did not match a registered redirect URI Request Details from_login=1 scope=https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email response_type=code access_type=online redirect_uri=http://raid101.com/community/index.php?register/google&assoc=1 state=profile as=-2e6e4ec4a25ad903 display=page pli=1 client_id=36775536900.apps.googleusercontent.com authuser=0 hl=en This keeps the user stuck on a Google page. Doesn't redirects one back to their profile page either. I know you guys are working hard to make this Raid a success but please look into these issues also at your earliest discretion.
The Forum Policies, Guidelines & Announcements | RAID101 section was plagued with SPAM Threads .. Are regular members allowed to create threads in this section. It should be staff only I believe. Staff Also can we remove the up the deleted thread from the view its taking up too much space. Any way to permanently delete these SPAM threads.. ?
Permanent deletion options would be with initpidzero and rpm, The staff have not been given this option. We need to check from a test account if one can make threads in the announcements section. Ill do that and report back.
These spams are unavoidable. On internet you can only avoid thing for certain timeframe. The vulnerabilities lies at core of system e.g. php or xenforo itself.
1. For announcements section, we limit it to staff only posting. 2. For the deleted threads, we'll move them to a archive, so that should fix things up. 3. Spam has gone down considerably and should be negligible from now. 4. Contacts page should be fixed by harryneopotter soon.
