I just got my Roccat Savu off Amazon, Processor and Mobo from Microcenter NYC, everything else off Newegg or second hand online market (reddit, overclock etc).
So I got the RAM sticks. Dialled in Voltage and timings and it was running at 1600 Mhz at 1.65V. But guess what, Seller sent me 2x2gb kit. What a mistake. I do not blame him, after all we all make mistakes. I have got my money and postage to send the RAMs back to him. Now hunt starts for another 8GB kit. Today was a bad day, Installed Windows like 3 times. Pro Tip :- never ever update your Installation. Stick to vanilla install.
Atleast for windows 8 instead of installing the drivers, let the installation update first and then install the drivers once it has updated to 8.1. Much easier and hassle free that way.
Every update slows down Windows 7 like a sloth. No I did not install drivers for Windows 7 before Update.
Darn this dung of hunting sticks . I am getting a brand new set of 8GB running natively at 1.5V from Naya Anda. Fingers crossed.
Already have Amazon Prime man, do not want to accidentally end up paying for Naya Anda too. I will use this free trial near Black Friday for some SSDs, a Monitor and a new Case. Not to forget a better Cooler. BTW why would i need it when Newegg warehouse is 10 miles away from my place? Heavy Monitor reached me in 2 days without any premium account. You cannot beat that. --- Double Post Merged, Aug 14, 2014 --- Is there a way to find out who manufacturers Chips for a Memory seller brand? I mean heat spreaders are on top of the sticks. So, how can I find who is the chip Manufacturer?
Damn, thats good. Basic shipping to my place in San Francisco takes at least 4 days. And Amazon Prime (Huehue) has literally spoiled me to no end, sometimes they even deliver next day
Xolo play 7 is really old. Plus I sent it back to amazon. The display had stuck pixels. Not 1. Not 2. But 10 of them Also Amazon doesn't provide replacement, they only give refund. Price is 6K now. So I won't be buying it again. So no review
