This is a place where we all can pay tribute to legends who are no longer among us in flesh and blood.. Sportsmen, artists, writers, scientists.. Any person who became an achiever in his/her own right.. Starting with none other than Michael Jackson : The Undisputed King of Pop He is one-who-needs-no-introduction. And my vocabulary possibly will not be able to do any justice to the mountain that is his music and talent. This is for (from what I have been told) the guy whose absence gave Michael Schumacher the chance to be Michael Schumacher (emphasis on the racing skills of Senna here, not by any means less of skills of Schumacher) : Ayrton Senna - The Best Racing Driver http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayrton_Senna May their souls rest in peace!
All my list has music artists, however all of them legends in their regard - - Jagjit Singh - Kishore Kumar And how could I forget to add The great RD burman - Mehdi hassan - It was true when someone tweeted that God has taken a sudden liking to listening to ghazals... These guys will be sorely missed. MJ was someone I really really really really wanted to see once on stage, live. <------- This is for real.
Aww hell.. Aryton Senna .. jeez what a magnificent human being he was. and one of the greatest sportsman in the truest sense. I suggest everyone to watch his documentary "Senna" .. tearful stuff. A LEGEND like no other can be.
Bruce Lee The Master (27 November 1940 – 20 July 1973) The face of Chinese martial globally. Lee's phenomenal fitness allowed him to perform numerous exceptional physical feats: Lee's speed in terms of reacting + punching from a distance of three feet away was determined to be around five hundredths of a second (0.05 second); from five feet away it was around eight hundredths of a second (0.08 second). Lee could take in one arm a 75 lb barbell from a standing position with the barbell held flush against his chest and slowly stick his arms out locking them, holding the barbell there for several seconds. In a speed demonstration, Lee could snatch a dime off a person's open palm before they could close it, and leave a penny behind. Lee performed one-hand push-ups using only the thumb and index finger. Lee performed 50 reps of one-arm chin-ups. Lee could cause a 300-lb (136.08 kg) bag to fly towards and thump the ceiling with a sidekick. Lee held an elevated v-sit position for 30 minutes or longer. "Be formless... shapeless, like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You pour water into a bottle; it becomes the bottle. You put water into a teapot; it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow, or creep or drip or crash! Be water, my friend..."
