Hi I'm looking for 2 USB based 3G sticks. Want one for my sister who will be using it in Chandigarh circle and one for me, to be used in Mumbai circle. Her usage is basically browsing so a decent data cap of like 5-10GB would do but I intend to use for purposes like browsing, Skype calls and downloading so need one which provides these a decent data speed without a cap or limit.

Without a cap opr FUP is not available imo, all throttle bandwidth after the use of data cap !!
I would suggest the Reliance ones !! coz I have uesd those two in the location that you want !

Yes Bro. Unlocked. But if I am not mistaken, they support a max speed of 7.2Mbps.

Reliance Netconnect has dongles with prices as low as Rs.250 for 1GB. For casual browsing - they are pretty good.

SumitB, so are those still up for sale? If yes then how will one get them to work? I mean just insert sim and start browsing or does it requires some manual calibration to be done ?

If its unlocked than you will be able to put any companies connection to use with that.
so it is a win win situation, ebay has some deals on this device too.
