So from a measly 70-60 dB signal level I was able to boost my Home Wi-Fi signal level to 45-40 dB (lower is better since it's in -ve values) using InSSIDer.

All I had to do was find the channels from adjoining Wi-Fi networks that were overlapping with my home network Wi-Fi and simply change the broadcast channel of my Wi-Fi Router.

:) Hope this helps some noobs (like me) trying to figure out how to improve their home Wi-Fi Coverage!

    Oh yeah, very useful tool.

Also WiFi analyzer for Android makes a more portable version of it.

Pretty handy if you live in building with dozens of WiFi networks around.

Interesting, though I hate wifi. It is slow and unreliable.
