Buying Advice Webcam and mic?

I want to buy a decent microphone for my computer and a webcam.
Primary usage is well skyping and hangout-ing etc.
Any suggestions?

For microphone, best buy a Headset - Any el cheapo ones should do.

I never lived in a shared dorm, not even when I was in uni, you dolt.

 

Do you have a room mate? If yes, get a dedicated mic, if not, I find the webcam mic is sufficient for Skype

 

I have a flatmate, but I would get a dedicated mic anyway.
