And after trying the desktop (web) version of WhatsApp, I can appreciate Telegram that much more. - It keeps on giving me a notification that my phone is not connected to the web. I cannot even watch a video on youtube without getting this error message. - Every few minutes I have to wake up my phone to ensure the connection is resumed. - Functionality is basic In comparison, Telegram desktop client works as an independent app, similar to Yahoo messenger or Nimbuzz desktop client. Unlimited file size or type can be shared or sent. Groups can be bigger and images don't have to lose resolution or size when transferring or sharing. So long WhatsApp!
