How much did they run you for ?
Are you inclined to Studio Monitors ?
Sweet.. How much?
Around 16k for both. Was Inclined towards something I can have a party on without disturbing folks at home. This combo is perfect for the price.
Congrats great purchase.
these give a professional recording studio look
16k is about 160£, yeah that sounds about right.
M50 is a studio monitor with very neutral sound. Even the HD280 Pro Amazon.com: Sennheiser HD-280 PRO Headphones: Electronics
are a good (cheaper) alternative.
there are other alternatives.
Sennheiser HD 380 PRO Collapsible High END FOR Professional Monitoring Headset | eBay
Beyerdynamic DT-770-PRO 250 Ohm Studio Headphones Ext. Warranty NEW! MAKE OFFER!
There are no alternatives of the M50 at its price range and with the E10 or any good headphone amp it just gets better! Trust me.
Well a lot of people out there feel that it beats some headphones which are twice as expensive. So called neutral sound on these sound orgasmic. You won't believe until you listen to them. With the E10 the sound is just amazing. You will melt.
Naicce....they are good...m eyeing on ones as well...waiting for good deals...meanwhile the jvc s400 rocking

There is an alternative to every headphone and i am saying after listening to the M50 many times, M50 has its own set of strengths.
I collect headphones and listen to a lot of headphones, also much depends on personal sound preference so if M50 satisfies your soul then that is exactly what you want to listen to.
what is the price you paid for these? cause when you say "lot of people out there feel that it beats some headphones which are twice as expensive" i just want to understand the pricing and what twice that money offers, also never go by the opinion or an appreciation thread in headfi cause their opinions change faster than everyday stock values.
My audiophile journey ends with M50 (for now). I heard it at a friend's place and hence bought it.
